Steve Arnott  North East Family Celebrant

My name is Steve Arnott and I’m a member of the UK Society of Celebrants.  I was born, brought up and educated in the North East of England.  Whitley Bay to be precise.  When I left school, I served my apprenticeship in the Display Department of a large Newcastle Department Store before attending Newcastle College of Art and Technology, where I studied Commercial Design and Graphics.

After leaving college, I fell into the world of Professional Theatre after being a keen amateur performer from being a schoolboy.  After a brief career of performing and touring I followed a path of training and teaching on Tyneside for some years, before returning to the professional stage nearly twenty years ago.  My work has taken me all over the United Kingdom and abroad.  I have appeared in numerous pantomimes, musicals and plays, as well as working as a Company and Stage Manager and an award-winning Scenic Artist. 

 

For a number of years, I had wanted to follow the career path of Family Celebrancy before eventually training with the UK Society of Celebrants.  A high percentage of wedding, baby naming and renewal of vows ceremonies in the United Kingdom are conducted by Family Celebrants.  We provide clients with the necessary information to choose and create a bespoke ceremony that suits their needs and expectations. As a Family Celebrant, I conduct and lead the ceremony in accordance with you, the client’s wishes and with the appropriate professionalism, dignity and presentation.

 

Each relationship or celebration is unique and each ceremony I create is original, there is no cut and paste.  They are designed around the requirements of those the ceremony is for.
